Mangat Hospital

Mangat Hospital formerly known as Mangat Nursing Home – a dream project of Surjit family of Katani Kalan was conceptualised and came into existence in 1982 at their native village Katani Kalan, as a day care centre. The project was then upgraded to multi-speciality with in-patient dept. in may 2002. and subsequently to Mangat Hospital with surgical and trauma care facilities in may, 2016 with expansion of facilities to its current level and size. This initiative by the area’s best-known names in medical care, strives to strengthen the three pillars of excellence in – “patient care, low cost and best possible treatment”. The establishment of “Mangat Nursing Home – unit of Mangat Hospitals” is an important step in this direction for the Surjit Family members in collaboration with Health care workers and Physicians around the area.

Mangat Hospital is also extending its expertise in comprehensive cancer care across the state whereby center will be supported by the local cancer specialists whose expertise will be reinforced by professional help from the tertiary Center. The quality services provided at the center are at affordable cost. Through this collaboration, a new synergy will be created in medical field of Punjab through their exposure to the best interventions in cancer care.
